From winter, I stepped into the world of forgiveness
My life, a cold, uncaring piece of crystal became new
You asked me "How?"
You said, "Can't happen!"
But yet, here it is. My life new!
The ice melting!
The snowstorm I called my heart has begun to find peace!
My years of separation from Christ have just become memories
Memories to be recalled 40 years from now
And laughed about...
From winter I stepped into a life of forgiveness
I saw a hand reaching through the snow
You said, "How?"
You said, "Can't happen!"
But yet, here it is. My brand new life
The ICE is melting
With just one touch from His hand I'm overwhelmed
With just one touch I am renewed
With just one touch life suddenly seems possible
Jesus has control.
The Spirit hears my thoughts & directs
The Lord of Hosts knows my very heart
With one touch the gun I kept so close...
The gun that was to be my ticket home...
The gun I bought for release...
It just seems light years away.
Jesus has become my greatest reason for living
My world has suddenly erupted with happiness
I see things arise from the cold that I did not know existed
I see my family standing so close...right beside me
Even my dog now barks in Hebrew!
Wonder what would have happened if I had bought ammunition?
Does it even matter anymore? Nahhhh!
